T2 WIDE BODY QUARTER PANELS WITH ADAPTERS
These are a full 2"s wider than stock, and will allow for a 13" wheel, and 345 series tires with ZERO tubbing or rubbing.
So in the end, what you get, is a panel that fits, and fits well. They are NOT made with "Blowglass" (AKA:Chopglass). They are made from full sheets of hand laid fiberglass, and gelcoated to perfection.. From start to finish, is handled by 1 man, so quality control is priority 1.
The hubs are made 100% in the USA, and are only made from the highest quality T-6061 solid billet aluminum.
- These wheel adapters space your wheel out the necessary distance in order to place the wheel in the correct location with our widened rear quarter’s.
- Essentially, they work just like a wheel does. They ARE hubcentric just like the factory wheel is. All you do, is place the adapter over your factory studs. You use your factory lug nuts to torque the adapter to the factory specifications. You then take your wheel, and install it over the adapters wheel studs, and install the provided lug nuts to factory specifications. You can also run wheel locks just like you normally would.
- You do not notice ANY performanc difference at all. They are balanced from the manufacturer, so there is no concern of vibration. Being that they are a hub centric design, they fit nice and snug.
- It does not hurt your wheel bearings or suspension by moving the wheel further out. It is no different than running an aftermarket wheel that is spaced further out. Wider wheels have been run on C5’s since 1997 in both the street and racing scene. You will not see any increased wear over and above runing an aftermarket wheel that has the same spacing.
- We have 2 different styles. Although in our testing we have not found a need for the upgraded version, we do have it available. The standard option utilizes factory style wheel studs. If the owner has above 650 rwhp, or is involved in racing, you have the option of upgrading to ARP racing studs. The ARP studs have been proven reliable to over 900rwhp, and in the low 9’s with slicks.
- The design of the adapter blends in to the wheel so that you cant even really tell unless you are literally looking through the wheel.
- You can run any brake you want. With these adapters, you can even upgrade to C6 Z06 brakes without having to change wheels.
- Lifetime limited warranty to the purchaser. We will repair/replace any adapter that fails due to material failure, broken stud, or out of balance, at no charge to the customer. Just pay to ship it to us, and we’ll take care of it. In most cases we will send a new adapter, along with a call tag for the old one so you have no down time.
Being that they literally bolt to your factory hub, using your factory wheel studs and lug nuts, you are able to get 100% of the clamping effect of the lugnut. We are not just adding a spacer, and loosing that valuable stud. We just had a car with over 800lbft of torque on the dyno, and it was smoking the tires at 3200rpm’s. The adapters were perfect.
