In December of 2007, Total Performance Engineering became the worldwide distributer for the Chevrolet Division of Kenne Bell Supercharger products, as well as forming distributorships and dealer relationships with some of the nation’s leading manufacturers. 

Due to the exponential growth the company experienced in 2008, TPE moved from its small Henderson location, to a large facility at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  (Please visit the SHOP TOUR tab located at the top of the screen for more information on our new facility). This facility is known as one of the largest and nicest tuner shops in the state of Nevada with an 800 square foot customer lounge complete with leather couches, flat-screen TV, pool table, and darts, an engine assembly room, and over 5,000 square feet of total shop space.

TPE provides the top performance parts for late model LS based vehicles, mustang, and vipers.  Like most performance shops, we provide the products of the top manufacturers such as Kenne Bell, RSI, Pfadt, LG Motorsports, Kooks, Comp Cams, RPM Transmissions, Spec Clutches, and many more.  We have also started to produce our own products, such as the widely received Oil Pressure Sensor Relocation Kit and T2 C5 Corvette wide body fenders.  We are currently working on more innovative products that will be released over the coming months.

TPE's objective is to develop innovative products that every performance enthusiast wants and needs. We started from the consumer’s point of view, which makes us strive to provide top-notch, practical, and necessary products, with only the finest installations and attention to detail available. Any general mechanic can read an instruction book. It takes an excellent builder to make your build vision become a reality. 

TPE competes at a national level providing products and services to customers throughout the United States.  We also currently have customers in forty-six of the fifty states, as well as in Canada, Sweden, Australia, India, Austria, South Africa, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and Finland. 

Jeff Gooss, President/Owner

Jeff has been in the automotive industry for over fifteen years.  Before opening Total Performance Engineering, he ran automotive and motorcycle dealerships at the executive level, and was one of the top performing General Managers in the city of Las Vegas and Henderson. His wealth of knowledge in the business arena, as well as his commitment to succeed, was the driving force behind being the youngest person ever in Las Vegas to be promoted to the highest level of executive automotive management.

Jeff has a reputation for building some of the most known and featured performance cars in the world. He personally has almost 100 pages of magazine print, almost a dozen magazine features, and multiple magazine covers, spanning in over 10 countries, and printed in 3 languages. His attention to detail, and meticulous eye, is the reason customers have driven their vehicle over 6000 miles round trip, just for him to work on their vehicle.

With Jeff’s experience in the automotive industry, the relationships he has built with the top manufacturers of automotive performance parts, and the notoriety he has gained in the automotive performance world, Jeff provides a great foundation for the company to build off of for the future.  He personally works on and oversees the builds and installations on all vehicles that come into the shop, and only believes in putting out the best work.

Jennifer Gooss, Corporate Secretary/Controller

As co-founder and corporate officer, Jennifer is an essential part of the company.  She brings a wealth of knowledge in accounting and management, with over twelve years of experience in accounting working for some of the largest corporations in Nevada.  She has earned two bachelor degrees from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and is currently in her final year of law school at Boyd School of Law, one of the top law schools in the country.

Although Jennifer may not know the technical ins and outs of an engine, she has gained familiarity with the products the company offers as well as provided crucial help on many of the shop builds.  She even installed a Kenne Bell supercharger on a Challenger nearly start to finish. Andrew Peterson, Performance Technician

Andrew joined TPE in May 2010 and has been an invaluable addition to the team.  He has worked on cars and motorcycles his entire life doing everything from mechanical work, custom fabrication with sheet metal work and welding, high performance engine building, maintenance and custom audio and video installation.

Andrew is a 10+ year ASE Master Technician, 10+ year Chevrolet Master Technician, has Corvette certifications, completed over 400 GM Courses, and maintained a top rated Service Satisfaction Index while working at automotive dealerships.  His knowledge and experience provides an assurance of only the highest quality and precision of work on every job, big or small, done at TPE.
